University of Seychelles Programme
The Certificate in Public Procurement has been developed, in conjunction with the Seychelles Procurement Oversight Unit (SPOU), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, (COMESA) and the International Law Institute African Centre for Legal Excellence (ILI-ACLE), to establish, foster, maintain and improve the public procurement system in Seychelles. The primary objective is a well-functioning, competitive, transparent and fair public procurement system.
Either of the following:
Grade B or above in IGCSE English and grade C or above in IGCSE Mathematics.
Mature candidates without IGCSE in Mathematics and English but with 2 years continuous work experience in a relevant field.
Procurement practitioners and other officers wishing to acquire knowledge and skills in the purchasing and supplies field.
Length: One and a half years
Format: 9 modules, a project of 6000 words and work-based experience
