Dragon Boat Festival celebrations at UniSey

According to Chinese lunar calendar, May 30th of this year was the Chinese traditional Duan Wu Festival,  also called the Dragon Boat Festival. It is a traditional holiday observed annually over 2,000 years in China to commemorate Qu Yuan (340-278 BC), an ancient Chinese patriotic poet .To celebrate this day,the Confucius Institute held a Dragon Boat Festival Celebration and Chinese cultural experience activity at the UniCafé with the  participation of the  Confucius Institute staff and friends from SCAA, SIAD, SBSA, SALS, local district and Chinese medical team, and CNQC members. Activities included Chinese character painting and learning how to wrap the Chinese dumplings.
