The Launching of a new Vocational Bar Course

A new Vocational Bar Course will soon be launched by the University of Seychelles on 31st January 2014. The course which is an extension of the practical for the undergraduate law degree (LLB) will for the first time, be delivered locally by the School of Humanities and Science.

The Vocational Bar  course will provide all law students a customised content for which to apply their theoretical skills and has been endorsed by the Chief Justice, and fully gain accreditation from the Seychelles Quality Assurance (SQA) from the Ministry of Education.

This would mean that all practising legal professionals will be obtaining a recognised qualification for their profession based on the requirements of the laws of Seychelles.

The launching of this new course will be taking place at the Anse Royale Auditorium at 9:00 am to 10.30am, with a Moot Court followed by an official opening from the Chief Justice Egonda-Ntende.
