Chapter on “The role of civil society actors in responding to gender-based violence in Seychelles” by Diana Benoit

Mrs. Diana Benoit has contributed a chapter entitled “The role of civil society actors in responding to gender-based violence in Seychelles”  in the book “Handbook of Civil Society and Social Movements in Small States” by Routledge. The Chapter explores gender issues in Seychelles, in particular violence against women and girls; and it shows that civil society has an important role to play in advocating non-violence social change in the communities and in supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
