Committee to consider actions to honour the late President James Mancham

President Danny Faure has set up a Committee to consider and make recommendations on actions that could be taken to honour the memory of the late President James Mancham. The Committee met on Monday 30th January 2017. They made a number of suggestions and reviewed proposals submitted by the general public.

The Chairperson of the Committee, Ambassador Bernard Shamlaye, met with representatives of the Sir James Mancham International Centre for Peace Studies and Diplomacy, on Thursday 2nd February, to further discuss the role of the Centre in implementing the proposed actions that the Committee will recommend to President Faure in March 2017.
