The programme consists of the following components:

  • Essential Mathematics
  • Business Communication Skills
  • IT Essentials
  • C++ Programming
  • Object-Oriented with Java Programming
  • Database Technology
  • CCNA
  • Software Engineering
  • Server Installation, Configuration and Administration
  • Network Defence and Counter measures
  • PKI and Biometrics concepts and planning
  • Data Center Management
  • Web Technologies
  • Practical and Work Based experience

The programme will give students the opportunity to specialise in Software Development, Infrastructure, Networking and Security and Web Technologies and Databases in Year 2.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded a Diploma in Computing and IT.  Such qualifications will enable graduates to follow higher-level computer programmes offered by UniSey.

Duration

The programme is for a duration of two years.

Language of Study

The programme is offered in English.

Mode of Study

The programme is offered full-time.

Entry Requirements

Candidates wishing to join the Diploma in Computing and IT are expected to have 3 IGCSEs with grade C or above including Mathematics and English.
