Learning a language opens a door to another culture. French literature has helped shape the understanding of humanity at large. This programme offers a range of exposures to the French cultural past and present.
The major explores distinctively French contributions to world culture. You will develop a critical appreciation of the cultural values that lie at the heart of French life. You will enhance your skills for translating, summary-writing, and delivering written and oral presentations to near native standards.
3 years full-time and 5 years part-time

To be eligible for the BA degree you must:
satisfy the University general entrance requirements;
demonstrate competence in French at least equivalent to Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF).
