The Confucius Institute is a non-profit public institutions which aim to promote Chinese language and culture in foreign countries from 2004 on , which are cooperated with universities in different countries. Till now there are 545 Confucius Institutes in the world . It goes all out in meeting the demands of foreign Chinese learners and contributing to the development of multiculturalism and the building of a harmonious world.
University of Seychelles is the only university in Seychelles and is a representative in higher education and research with an international vision in Seychelles. Confucius Institute was based in the University of Seychelles in 2014. From then on Chinese teaching , cultural activities and educational exchange have been on very well .
Confucius Institutes/Classrooms adopt flexible teaching patterns and adapt to suit local conditions when teaching Chinese language and promoting culture in foreign primary schools, secondary schools, communities and enterprises.
