Presently : Legal, Policy and Institutions, Strategic Planning and Evaluation Consultant; Barrister-at-Law; Director of Publication, “ISLAND STUDIES –Indian Ocean / Océan Indien”, Director, Legal Studies (Center for Legal and Business Studies, Mauritius) (CLBS)
Proven capacity in: strategic planning, results-based management, evidence-based programming. Human development and social protection issues through project design, M&E, implementation of country and regional programs, supervision and management, and policy dialogue.
Experience in mounting conflict- sensitive policy and operational frameworks, implementing, overseeing n evaluating conflict-sensitive programs in Mozambique (post 1992 conflict) and Madagascar (post 2001 conflict).
Coordination of a 17 conflict and post-conflict country programming process, at the level of UNFPA HQs, New York.
Provided technical support in: Population and Development, rights-based approach to development, Human Rights, Aid effectiveness: gender, poverty reduction, national data collection, disaster risk management and special programs for disadvantaged groups.
Provided technical support by participating in the UNCT mechanisms set up in Madagascar to enhance aid coordination and management at the country level
Participate in the UNCT’s initiatives in respect, inter alia, of the following: Joint Programs on decentralisation, education for all, HIV / Aids; CCA / UNDAF formulation processes in Madagascar.
