Special Section: The Seychelles in the 21st Century

The Creole Language and Creole Research Institute (CLCRI) is proud to announce the publication of a special issue of Small States and Territories, featuring Seychelles in the 21st century.  The special issue contains a number of articles issuing from the conference on Small Scale, which was organized by CLCRI in March 2019. Our close collaborators in this endeavor are Professor Thomas Hylland Eriksen, University of Oslo, Norway, and Professor Godfrey Baldacchino, University of Malta. Small States and Territories is an open access journal affiliated to the University of Malta, and Prof. Baldacchino is its editor.

Several current and former UniSey staff, have articles published in this special issue, which in itself, is an achievement and they are Dr. Indra Persaud, Dr. Olga Klymenko and Ms. Monika Bar.  This also includes our close collaborators, Mats Deutschmann and Anders Steinvall from Sweden, and Ramola Ramtohul from the University of Mauritius.

Enjoy this rare moment to have a good number of 21st century articles about Seychelles and its society in current times.
