On Thursday 8th October, the University of Seychelles alongside Plaisance Primary School held the Teachers’ Week Research Forum.
The Research Forum is a unique opportunity for the participants of the Master’s in Educational Leadership programme to present their research proposals to a wider audience.
The Master’s programme is offered by the University of Mauritius (UoM) in partnership with the University of Seychelles. The programme enhances leadership skills and develops the knowledge and skills needed to manage educational change to promote quality education in Seychelles. The Master’s programme helps educational leaders to become visionary, results oriented and competent professionals who can empower others to succeed and to lead.
The following professionals are following the Master’s programme, and 18 of them will present their master research proposals at the Forum:
- School Head Teachers, Deputy Heads and Department Heads from Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Education Institutions
- Senior Teachers who play a leadership role within their educational system
