The inaugural Seychelles Coastal and Marine Science Symposium (or SCMSS) will run from 22nd – 24th May 2024 on Mahe, Seychelles at Eden Bleu. The goal of the symposium is to foster collaboration among the many different actors researching aspects of Seychelles vast marine zone. The event will consist of in person and online oral presentations, a poster presentation session, keynote talks, nightly functions, and a separate ocean open day for the public in Victoria on the last day. It is hoped this symposium will turn into biennial event serving as a focal point of all future marine related research in Seychelles. Apply by November 30^th 2023 to present your research.
