"A scientific glimpse into the past, present and future"

The inaugural Seychelles Marine Science Symposium (or SMSS) will run from 22nd – 23rd May on Mahe, Seychelles at Eden Bleu, with a public science exhibition on the 24th in Victoria. The goal of the symposium is to foster collaboration among the many different actors researching aspects of Seychelles’ vast marine zone. The event will consist of 66 in person and online oral presentations, 31 poster presentations and 4 keynote talks. There will be more than 200 delegates present, from 18 countries and 83 different organisations. Special scientific sessions are being organised by the Ocean Project on plastic pollution and SWIOFISH 3.
