CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE & TECHNOLOGY

Committees

Overview

The Campus Infrastructure & Technology Committee provides strategic advice to the UniSey Senate and University Council on all major physical and digital infrastructure initiatives. Aligned with Strategic Pathway 7 (“Invest in core infrastructure”) of the UniSey Strategic Plan 2022–2030, the Committee ensures that our campus remains modern, sustainable, and technologically robust.

What We Do

  • Strategic Planning & Development: Advise on the design, construction, and maintenance of campus facilities—both physical buildings and ICT infrastructure—ensuring they meet current needs and accommodate future growth.

  • Policy & Standards: Review, develop, and recommend IT policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee secure, efficient, and sustainable use of technology across the University.

  • Resource Allocation: Offer guidance on budgeting, staffing, and procurement for IT projects and capital works, including input to tender specifications and contractor appointments.

  • Innovation & Funding: Promote adoption of emerging technologies (e.g. flexible learning platforms, renewable‑energy solutions) and assist in identifying grants, partnerships, and other financing avenues.

  • Campus Sustainability: Advise on strategies to build and maintain an environment‑friendly campus—embracing green‑field developments, renewable energy, and efficient resource use.
