UNESCO‑Supported PDRI Project Launched to Foster Peaceful School Communities
The official launch of the PDRI project, held yesterday, marks a significant step toward promoting peaceful coexistence and conflict resolution in Seychelles schools, with the support of the Seychelles National Commission for UNESCO.
The event highlighted key initiatives, including the development of a Conflict Resolution Handbook, teacher training, and the establishment of student peace clubs. Certificates were presented to trained teachers, while Peace Club members received T-shirts and badges in recognition of their role in fostering a culture of peace within their schools.
