Bryan is an experienced teacher trainer and course developer who joined UniSey in 2010. Bryan completed a Diploma in Educational Studies in 1988 at the School of Education (Seychelles). He further obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics Education at the University of Sussex in 1991 followed by a Master of Education from the Edith Cowan University in Australia in 2004.
Bryan taught at the National Youth Service (NYS) and then joined the Ministry of Education as the Assistant Curriculum Officer for computer education where he developed and coordinated the first ICT education curriculum for Seychelles. Bryan later joined the National Institute of Education as a lecturer in mathematics and ICT education. In 2007, he developed and coordinated the first competency-based curriculum for Seychelles and, in 2013, he developed and taught mathematics modules on the BEd programme for the University of Seychelles.
Currently Bryan is a PhD candidate with the University of Staffordshire and teaches statistics on the BSc Environmental Science programme. He is also a part-time mathematics lecturer at SIDOL.
Bryan has two publications: ICT Skills for Teachers, (2006); and Information and Communication Technology in the National Curriculum, (2008).
