Ms. Noussira Daman is a Lecturer and Dissertation Supervisor at the University of Seychelles. She has over 18 years of professional experience across public policy, strategic communications, and entrepreneurship development, both in Seychelles and internationally. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including the CEMBA/CEMPA and BBA degrees.
Her areas of specialisation include business ethics, public policy, entrepreneurship, and strategic human resource management.
Ms. Daman holds a Master of Arts in International Development (Public Policy & Management) from the University of Manchester and a Baccalauréat ès sciences sociales in Political Science from Université de Moncton. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at UniSey, with her research focused on supply chain resilience in Small Island Developing
States (SIDS).
She is actively engaged in mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs through her NGO M’Power, which supports women and youth in launching sustainable ventures. Her international consultancy and training experience includes the facilitation of women’s economic empowerment workshops across the Indian Ocean region and the initiation of youth leadership and entrepreneurship programmes. Her academic and professional interests include innovation ecosystems, business incubators and accelerators, and capacity-building for early-stage entrepreneurs.
Ms. Daman brings a strong practitioner lens to her teaching, often integrating real-world challenges, pitch-based learning, and policy dialogue into student engagement bridging academia with action.
