Mr. Alexander Muthurengan Murugaiyan began his career as a software professional but discovered his passion for teaching and has been dedicated to it since 2000. He combines practical experience with academic expertise to enhance student learning and professional skills.

Alexander completed his academic studies in Tamil Nadu, India, earning a BSc in Science (Physics), a Master’s in Computer Applications, and a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science, all from Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirapalli, India. To further develop his academic and teaching proficiency, he obtained a Postgraduate  Diploma in Computer  Applications and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education for Teachers in 2015.

Between 2006 and 2008, Alexander gained hands-on IT management experience as IT Manager at the Ministry of Land Use and Habitat (MLUH), which he leverages in guiding students in applied computing skills. He has been invited as a speaker and resource person for workshops on computer applications across colleges in Tamil Nadu, India. Additionally, he has coordinated yoga programs, promoting wellbeing among students and teachers.

Currently, Alexander is pursuing a PhD in the field of Information Retrieval. He has published research, including “Mathematical  Analysis of Retail Product Rating using Data Mining Techniques”. He is widely recognized for his commitment, patience, and supportive teaching approach.
