On 29 May 2026, a five-member delegation led by Fan Yuxin, Director of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Coalfield Geology, held discussions with the Blue Economy Research Institute at the University of Seychelles. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in blue economy research, marine geological and environmental innovation, and the translation of research into practical applications. Representatives from key national institutions also attended.
