University of Seychelles and Catholic Church Explore Partnership for Community Development and Ethical Leadership
A delegation from the University of Seychelles, led by Vice-Chancellor Ms. Joelle Perreau, met with Bishop Landry Philippe Rasamison and representatives of the Catholic Church in Seychelles to discuss opportunities for collaboration in education, community development, and ethical leadership. Discussions focused on digital literacy, the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), financial stewardship training for church volunteers, and initiatives that promote lifelong learning, responsible citizenship, and community well-being. The proposed partnership reflects a shared commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through knowledge, values-based leadership, and sustainable development.
