From 27 to 28 October, the Director for Quality Assurance participated in a Capacity Building Workshop Series on Strengthening Quality Assurance in Higher Education in the SADC Region – Mauritius and Seychelles Chapter. The workshop was held in Mauritius and brought together quality assurance professionals and higher education stakeholders from across the region to discuss best practices, emerging trends, and collaborative approaches to enhancing quality assurance systems in higher education.

Seychelles was represented by the University of Seychelles (UniSey) and the Seychelles Qualifications Authority (SQA). The workshop provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, regional collaboration, and the exchange of experiences aimed at strengthening quality assurance mechanisms and supporting continuous improvement in higher education institutions within the SADC region.
