UniSey researchers from the Department of Environmental Science and the Island Biodiversity Conservation Centre recently took part in the symposium “Birds Without Borders or Isolated Islands?” Connectivity of Western Indian Ocean Seabirds”, hosted by the University of La Réunion.

The symposium brought together regional partners to share research findings on seabirds and to strengthen collaboration across the Western Indian Ocean. It also provided a valuable platform for institutions to exchange ideas, experiences and insights on the challenges and opportunities shaping seabird research and conservation in the region.
