Adam Furneau holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of Warwick. He currently serves as Project Support & Outreach Officer (since 2026), contributing to conservation field activities, communications, and organisational support across ongoing projects.

Adam has a professional background in coordination, communications, and legal affairs. He gained experience in office management and administration while running a family real estate business for two years. As a former Seychelles member of the youth NGO Global Shapers, he developed strong connections with the local nature conservation community and became well-versed in environmental and climate resilience challenges at national and international levels.

Motivated by a deep commitment to environmental protection, Adam reoriented his career in 2025 to contribute to conservation. During the last quarter of 2025, he volunteered as a field assistant with the Island Biodiversity and Conservation (IBC) Centre, supporting monitoring activities in the Ste Anne Marine Park and Anonyme Island. He is now based at the IBC Office, supporting conservation fieldwork and monitoring, assisting with logistics and administration, documenting project activities, and facilitating coordination with partner organisations and stakeholders.
