Mrs. Betty-Mai Sofa was employed as a Lecturer at the University of Seychelles since April 2020 and in April 2021 she was also discharging the responsibilities as the Head of the Health and Social Care Department. She now holds the post of Registrar.
Mrs. Sofa considers herself as a community and youth development academic and practitioner with 17 years of professional working experience plus 22 years of voluntary work experience. Mrs. Sofa is passionate about topics related to early childhood care and education; community organisation; strategic planning for the social sector; project management; project evaluation; scouting; sustainability and youth empowerment.
