As the co-founder and Director of an environmental engineering and survey consulting company, Ms. Malshini Senaratne specialises in environmental and social impact assessment projects and conducts sustainability/business planning research and field studies in the Seychelles. These studies allow for the mixed use of international research methods and techniques suited to the local context.

With a Master degree in International Management (Business), Malshini joined the University of Seychelles as a lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Sustainable Development. She is fluent in four languages and draw on 8 years of working experience in diverse backgrounds such as banking and finance – where she was Head of Sales and Trading for Barclays Bank – sales, consultancy and education, gained in Seychelles, Australia and Sri Lanka.
