The Housekeeping and Administration Officer supervises housekeeping staff and provides administrative support to the Section.
Performs the administrative and clerical duties necessary for effective Office Management of the Section. Her responsibilities include welcoming visitors and clients, communicating with staff and clients, managing office supplies stock and placing orders, updating of inventory, setting up and managing the filing system, undertaking routine correspondence and scheduling meetings and events. The post-holder is also responsible for supervising the housekeeping staff and ensures that they adhere to the health and safety policies and other university-related policies and procedures. Working with the Facilities Coordinator, she oversees the requisition documentation as well as implementation of the site inspection checklists. The AHO will also assist the HRTM Section with the selection of accommodation for expatriate staff, in line with University guidelines.
