Ms. Alexandria Faure is the Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly of Seychelles with experience in parliament, aeropolitics and performing arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama & Theatre Arts, a Masters in Global Diplomacy and is currently completing a Bachelor of Laws with the University of London.
She has always been passionate about environmental sustainability and is the current Chairperson of the Environmental Policy Implementation Committee of the National Assembly Service having the responsibility of monitoring and evaluating the National Assembly’s progress in implementing different action plans to become a sustainable and environmentally friendly institution. In 2023, Ms. Faure was among 8 parliamentary officials from across the Commonwealth who participated in the annual UK Parliament Study Programme and formed part of the 34th Parliamentary Internship Programme at the Parliament of India, Lok Sabha in 2018.
She is an alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Programme and is honored to be a Member of the PDRI Advisory Committee. Wearing many hats, Ms. Faure is the Chairperson of the Seychelles National Youth Council Advisory Committee and has served as a Member of the Board of the Seychelles Media Commission as well as having volunteered with a few youth led NGOs within civil society.
