Ms. Benoit is responsible for the research and administrative leadership of the Institute.  

She organizes and manages the daily operations and resources of the Institute; and represents the Institute on several committees at UniSey including: Senate Committee, Faculty Management and Faculty Board, Research and Innovation Committee and Ethics Committee.  

Ms. Benoit promotes and facilitates collaborative and interdisciplinary research, in a wide range of thematic areas related to peace and diplomacy studies. She develops and maintains partnership with local and international partners to broaden the Institute’s network to advise and support the national research strategy; and also attract visiting scholars.  Ms. Benoit  also develops project proposal and actively seek for sources of funding to support the implementation of research projects. She shares knowledge acquired from research projects by publishing the research findings as article, report, book chapter. She also writes a bi-annual newsletter for the Institute to stay connected to its stakeholders.  

Ms. Benoit assists with the coordination of UniSey’s M.A. in Peace and Conflict Resolution programme and she also develops workshop and short courses on peace studies for a wide range of audience. As part of the Institute’s advocacy programmes to create awareness about peace and engage with the students and youths in peacebuilding, she host activities to commemorate some United Nations International Days in collaboration with other local or regional partners – Mandela Day, Ghandi Day and the International Day of Peace.
