Ms. Diana Benoit is the Director of the Peace and Diplomacy Research Institute (PDRI) at the University of Seychelles and one of its founding members. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Cultural Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Information from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia (2008). She also received a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Seychelles and the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute, Tanzania (2016). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Management Sciences, specializing in Public Administration – Peace Studies, at the Durban University of Technology, South Africa. Her main research areas include peacebuilding, conflict transformation, transitional justice, and restorative justice.
