Researchers from the University of Seychelles’ Department of Environment and Island Biodiversity and Conservation Centre, in collaboration with the Island Conservation Society (ICS), are investigating the feeding locations of white-tailed tropic birds nesting on Aride Island. The project combines scientific research with practical training in seabird handling, ringing, and measurement techniques for island staff, strengthening local research capacity while advancing knowledge of Seychelles’ seabird ecology and conservation.
