Dr. Destaw Yigzaw brings a wealth of academic and professional experience to the Department of Law. With a career spanning both academic and legal fields, he has held a variety of positions, including:

• Assistant Professor

• Lecturer

• Fellow in Residence

• Adjunct Lecturer

In addition to his teaching roles, Dr. Yigzaw has served as a Director in human rights monitoring, research, and advocacy, where he contributed to significant projects on global human rights issues. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Legal Officer, progressing through academic ranks from Graduate Assistant to Lecturer.
