The LLB Hons degree programme aims to equip students with legal knowledge and skills which will be a foundation to endless career options as law professionals.
The LLB Hons degree programme aims to equip students with legal knowledge and skills which will be a foundation to endless career options as law professionals. Students who undertake the LLB programme will have an opportunity to undergo formal legal education which is comprehensive and robust. The first year introduces students to critical legal thinking and legal reasoning. To enhance knowledge in the discipline of law, subsequent years will offer a wide range of substantive law courses, including specialised electives.
The LLB is expected to increase legal professionals in Seychelles. Formal legal education and legal professionals are imperative in order to support the aspirations of the national development plan from both a human capital perspective, and aspirations to enhance good governance for peace, prosperity and sustainable development. Law graduates are instrumental in this regard.
The programme is offered 4 years full-time and 6 years part time.
The programme is offered in English.
The primary delivery mode will be in person and virtual lectures. Additional self-study will also be required outside of contact hours.
