Eugenie Khani is a UniSey Alumni and has been working for the University of Seychelles for 8 years. She started as a Research Officer in the Blue Economy Research Institute in 2015. In 2018, she was transferred to the Quality Assurance Office as a QA Officer. She was later promoted to Senior Quality Assurance Officer in 2022, a position she is held until the 11th of April 2025. Then, She transferred to the Department of Environmental Sciences on the 14th of April 2025 as a lecturer and her main roles are as follows:

- Research and Innovation.
- Quality Assurance and enhancement.Tutorials, mentoring and pastoral care.

- MSc Marine Science and Sustainability at the University of Seychelles, Anse Royale, Mahé, Seychelles (July 2022).
Dissertation – ‘The effects of veterinary drugs and chemicals used in aquaculture on water quality parameters and potential risk to aquatic and human health’. (May 2021)
