What is Erasmus+ programme?  Â
 Â
- The Erasmus+ Programme (sometimes referred to as Erasmus + or Erasmus Exchange Programme) is an action scheme of the European Union to support cooperation and mobility in education. It aims at providing participants with different opportunities to improve their knowledge, skills and gain valuable international experience in another university.  Â
 Â
- It is a European Union-funded mobility programme, a unique opportunity allowing University students and staff to spend between one and twelve months at a European or non-European university. Â
 Â
- Students can attend classes, sit exams (earning credits), participate in specific activities and have a cultural experience. Staff will benefit through teaching, training and research project opportunities.Â
 Â
- Students will be exempted from paying tuition fees at the host institution (not the home institution) and will have access to all resources at the host institution.Â
 Â
- Students and staff will receive a grant under the Erasmus agreement signed between UniSey and its international partner to cover all costs such as travel, accommodation, transportation and meals.Â
Â
- Students enrolled in a programme at the University of Seychelles can apply for the mobility. This is subject to satisfying all the UniSey eligibility requirements. Partner institutions may have their own eligibility criteria.Â
Â
- International students from partner institutions under the Erasmus mobility programme may apply through their home institution for mobility at University of Seychelles. This is subject to satisfying all the eligibility requirements from both home and host institutions.
Â
- Staff interested in participating in mobility programmes must seek approval from both host and home institutions.Â
- Students are enrolled and have completed one year on a full-time programme.Â

- Students must have passed all year one modules or not be subject to “unsatisfactory academic progress”Â
- Students must have at least 80% attendanceÂ
