Ms Joëlle Perreau, Vice-Chancellor, and Mrs Jianmei Zhang, Director of the Confucius Institute, were invited by the Chinese International Education Foundation to attend the World Chinese Language Conference in Beijing, China, from 12 to 17 November 2025.

The Conference focused on the development of international Chinese language education and the strengthening of cultural and academic exchange. It also provided opportunities for collaboration with Chinese institutions and access to scholarship pathways for students.

From 28th September to 3rd October, four of our staff members proudly represented UniSey at the 13th WIOMSA Scientific Symposium in Mombasa, Kenya — the largest marine and coastal science conference in the Western Indian Ocean region, with over 1,200 delegates in attendance.
Our team contributed to critical regional dialogues by presenting their research through oral and poster sessions, while also engaging in meaningful knowledge exchange and capacity building.
