When Climate Change Meets Mental Health

The University of Seychelles continues to make learning interactive, practical, and engaging through ECON206: Natural Resource and Environmental Economics.
Students recently participated in a climate emotions workshop in collaboration with Sustainability for Seychelles, where they explored an important question: how does climate change affect mental health?
Through interactive discussions, creative expression, and reflective exercises, students connected environmental issues with real human experiences. At UniSey, learning goes beyond the classroom by combining academic knowledge with practical engagement and community collaboration.

Visiting Researcher – Mr. Joseph Siegel

The University of Seychelles is pleased to welcome Mr. Joseph Siegel for a research visit from 9th –13th February 2026, as part of our ongoing collaboration with Stockholm University. During his visit, he will work with the Faculty of Research and Innovation on research examining listening comprehension in second-language learning contexts, contributing to broader discussions on language teaching and learning in multilingual settings.
