The MA in Education is delivered through face-to-face sessions on Thursdays and Fridays, supported by online learning activities. Each module consists of ten sessions, with an expected study commitment of 15–20 hours per week.
The programme includes both core and elective modules, providing flexibility to align study with individual professional interests.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
Students pursuing the PGCE undertake Work-Based Experience (WBE 1–3) totalling 400 hours of supervised professional practice.
Assessment and Award
- Assessment is based primarily on coursework, reflective journals, and practical teaching evidence.
- Assignments range from 2,000 to 5,000 words depending on module level.
- The master’s dissertation is 20,000 words, accompanied by an oral defence (viva voce).
Students may:
Exit with a PGCE (120 credits) and QTS recognition, or
Continue to complete the MA in Education (160 credits).
