The University of Seychelles in collaboration with Örebro University Sweden, the Seychelles Ministry of Education and the Seychelles Institute of Teacher Education are pleased to announce a call for papers for a two-day regional and international event on the 2-3 October 2024 on Mahé, Seychelles on the theme of inclusive education. The event is co-funded by the Swedish Research Council.

We welcome papers from researchers, educational practitioners and policy makers on a wide variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical topics, dealing with all levels of education, including, but not limited to, themes such as:

• Language Supportive Pedagogy
• Digital technology and AI for learner support
• Multimodal solutions for education
• Pedagogic designs for inclusion
• SEL (Social and Emotional Learning)
• Individualised learning
• Peer-assisted learning
• Inclusive curriculum design
• Inclusivity and infrastructural aspects

Conference Publication

We will be accepting full papers (6-8000 words) for a conference issue of the Seychelles Research Journal (https://seychellesresearchjournal.com/). Deadline for submissions of the full papers is 31^st January 2025. 

Note that the journal is open access and accredited and listed as a level 1 journal in the Norwegian list.
